Russia's Best Startups in Russian Startup Rating 2012

A new Russian Startup Rating was introduced at Tech Crunch Moscow 2012. The Russian Startup Rating 2012 is based on the joint analysis of Russian technology companies by Russia Beyond the Headlines (RBTH) together with Digital October and PricewaterhouseCoopers’s Center for Technology and Innovation in Russia. 225 promising Russian projects were assessed according to their dynamics and development level.

THE TOP FIVE RUSSIAN STARTUPS

Displair - a service providing the next generation of interactive airborne screens, which project any multimedia content onto air. Founded in 2010, the company is a resident of Skolkovo and Kazan IT Park. The main perk of Displair is an interactive system which offers multiple solutions to solving business tasks in different fields.

LinguaLeo - an educational web-service for learning English online. According to the founders, the site has more than 2200000 registered users mainly from Russia and the CIS.
ZeptoLab - one of the leading gaming companies. 
Such games as Cut the Rope and Cut the Rope Experiments are highly ranged in global app-stores. The project received numerous awards including Apple Design Award, IGN Game of Year.

AdEasy - is the first Runet service helping publishers and advertisers directly buy and sell advertisement online. Advertisers can easily create and pay for an ad. AdEasy interactively creates ads using a variety of templates to see availability and choose their placement and audience targeting options.

Centrobit Agora - Russian internet-distribution systems developer and integrator. The company is a Skolokovo resident and a member of Microsoft BizSpark Program.
