Fastlane Ventures raised $13 mln

Fastlane Ventures, Russian Internet investment and operational partner in online businesses, has announced to secure an investment of $13M from leading technology investor Kenges Rakishev.

This investment will reinforce Fastlane Ventures' position on Russian VC market and allow it to launch new start-ups in 2013, accelerate the growth of a number of its portfolio businesses which has already demonstrated impressive results and achievements and to market test selected online business concepts.

Kenges Rakishev is reported to join the Fastlane Ventures Board of Directors, including such strategic investors as VTB Capital, Direct Group and e.ventures.

Kenges Rakishev has invested in a number of global tech start-ups including Mobli, a real-time visual media platform, Triplay, a leading cloud service, and NetElement, a technology driven payment processing company.
