0 7 February 2014

RIA-ratings has published its annual list of Russia’s top-100 companies. Despite a small fall in total value the list is headed by Gazprom, and oil and gas companies dominate the top-10.

However, the fastest growing company in 2013 was Yandex, which registered 100% growth bringing its total value to $13.5 billion. That made it Russia’s 16th biggest company.

Mail.ru was not far behind in 21st place, with a value of just under $9 billion after it grew by 41.6% last year.

The number of tech companies on the list was swelled this year by three successful IPOs. Payment service provider Qiwi‘s value has risen to $2.8 billion since its IPO last May, which puts it in 41st place overall.

Tinkoff Credit Systems, an innovative bank which held an IPO in October, has a capitalization value of $2.7 billion (43rd place), while software company Luxoft is valued at $1.2 billion (65th place) after it went public in July.
